General Hospital Spoilers: Kristina Learns Dex Is Working For Sonny’s Enemy

Spoilers for General Hospital indicate Lexi Ainsworth’s character, Kristina Corinthos Davis, has had a particularly difficult few years. Kristina felt like the outcast of her family and condemned to never really fit in after dabbling in a cult and breaking up with a relationship she never should have been in with one of her college professors.

She has improved over the past year, but she is still unconvinced that her mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), accepts her lifestyle decisions, such as choosing to work as a bartender full-time. As a result, Kristina constantly has the impression that her father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), is on her side. She won’t think twice when the chance arises for her to return the favor.

Kristina has been attempting to increase her sense of self-worth and self-love. She used to frequently look to others for love and approval, which left her open to predators like David Henry Hank Archer, sometimes known as Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). Since she hasn’t felt particularly interested in anyone for the past year or two, Kristina has been able to avoid being exploited and mistreated. That is, until now.

Although she attempts to avoid anyone connected to her father’s business, Dex has occasionally drawn her attention. When she learns that he has already taken a shine to her stepsister Josslyn “Joss” Jacks, this will make Dex even more alluring (Eden McCoy).

Of course, Kristina’s affection for Dex isn’t going to last long when she finds out what he has in store for her family. When she overhears Dex talking to someone about his plans to take Sonny down, she’s going to panic. Kristina won’t be aware that it’s Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) — her brother — who put this scheme in motion by hiring Dex, but she’s not going to waste any time trying to get to the bottom of who put Dex up to this before running to her father to warn him.

Kristina has a tendency to interject herself when she shouldn’t, particularly when she believes she is correct. She frequently makes snap decisions and fails to consider alternatives or perspectives other than her own, which can backfire when the complete picture becomes apparent. This time around though, Kristina is right on the money finding out that her dad’s newest associate, Dex, is sleeping with Joss and setting Sonny up to take a major fall that could land him behind bars for the rest of his life.
