Spoilers for General Hospital hint For the majority of her life, Josslyn “Joss” Jacks (Eden McCoy) has known that Cameron “Cam” Webber (William Lipton) is on her side. He is one of her closest friends and never disappoints her. When she was doubting whether anything is truly unbreakable due to issues with her parents, her first boyfriend’s death, her school, her safety, and other factors, Cam has been a dependable force in her life.
She understood it would be risky to date her best friend. What if they weren’t successful? How does that sound? She doesn’t regret asking herself these questions before taking the plunge and falling in love with Cam. She must make a difficult choice nonetheless, and she is unsure of how to actually carry it out. She does, however, know her mother, Carly Spencer, who might.
General Hospital Spoilers — Joss and Carly Have a Heart to Heart
With her kid, Carly has always had a particular bond. Joss is aware that she can tell her mother anything, but she does not feel the need to share everything with her. Any other daughter probably would have had a meltdown when Carly recently showed up unannounced at Joss’ dorm room after she was unable to reach her. Joss was aware of her limitations and her lack of experience, though. She also trusted her mother, which is why she not only invited Carly inside the room where Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was recuperating but also begged for assistance.
Carly is simply waiting for Joss to arrive and request more, like any mother would do, and she will. Joss is unsure of how to break up with Cam without jeopardizing their friendship. Will Carly be able to offer some sound advice, or will Joss have to handle this one on her own?
GH Spoilers Indicate Carly Has Been There Before
Carly has been part in numerous love triangles. She requested some of them, while joining others just seemed to happen. The first love triangle we saw Carly in, as longtime GH viewers will recall, occurred when she hooked up with her own stepfather, Tony Jones (Brad Maule), leaving her biological mother, Bobbie Spencer (Jaclyn Zeman), to deal with the fallout. She has frequently struggled to decide between Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jasper Jax (Ingo Rademacher), but she is now unmistakably preparing to side with one of the two ladies Sonny is still in love with.

Joss hasn’t given much thought to whether Dex wants more time with her because she is so worried about her friendship with Cam and what, if anything, she wants from him.
