Spoilers for General Hospital hint Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is about to get severely placed on the spot by Josslyn “Joss” Jacks (Eden McCoy). Dex has been telling Joss that once he was out of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) service, he would tell her who he had been working for. It’s unfortunate for Joss that the realism that Dex has been offering her won’t materialize.
In fact, the wheels are going to start to shake more and more until the whole operation goes off the tracks the closer he gets to finalizing the deal on Sonny’s business. Joss will start pressing for an explanation as she observes this from the sides. Will Dex be honest with her?
General Hospital Spoilers — The Warehouse Sniper was Strike One
Sonny was genuinely pleased when Dex happened to notice that sharpshooter out of the corner of his eye. Both of them were focused on getting out of there as quickly as possible and waiting for the person carrying the pistol to be dealt with at the time. Their survival would be ensured by Dex’s ability, and that was presumably part of the test Sonny had in mind for Dex. However, even if the sharpshooter was a fake and Sonny is only using Dex as bait, he is still demonstrating how cunning he is.
GH Spoilers Say Joss Wants the Ducks in a Row
When Dex emerges from his encounter with Sonny at the warehouse feeling as if he is on cloud nine, Joss will be left wondering what transpired. Mobsters occasionally encounter this kind of behavior. They participate in this risky activity, which causes their bodies to release adrenaline and give them a high unlike any other they have ever known. Joss experienced enough of it growing up to recognize its addictive qualities. She will be left worrying that Dex won’t ever truly quit the company and pondering if her mother was correct about him.
General Hospital Spoilers — Joss Won’t Be Able to Understand
Joss may be aware of what she is seeing when she sees Dex still leaving the firefight at the warehouse, but she also knows there is nothing she can do to halt what is about to happen. Dex may be claiming to her that he only entered this situation in order to kill Sonny, but now that he is there, it is obvious that he enjoys the risky lifestyle it entails. Even more concerning is the fact that Dex values Sonny’s opinion and is obviously delighted that Sonny was so complimentary of his fast thinking. Joss will never comprehend the allure of that way of life, but she also won’t give up on Dex. Is she actually any better now?
