General Hospital spoilers say that she’s leaving just as quickly as she came. While there’s no doubt that there are a lot of fans that are sad to see Emma Samms leave Port Charles, the actress hints that her character Holly might be back on the canvas sooner rather than later. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital Spoilers: Is Holly Returning To Port Charles In The Future?
Emma’s return to work was delayed significantly, according to Soap Opera Digest, because of her ongoing health issues. But after spending several weeks with us on the canvas, she is leaving for the UK. Emma acknowledged this and expressed her happiness at seeing Holly and Robert reconciled and getting along so well. She continued, “There is no doubt that she and Robert share a great deal of affection, empathy, and love. You see, their connection is still very strong, and if it weren’t for these unusual circumstances, they would probably be back together and working together right away. She might not have his permission, but she would certainly be joining them. They might return to that right away, in my opinion!
Emma also mentioned that Holly could possibly make a comeback given the circumstances of her departure. Holly has the freedom to leave and save Ethan, she observes, “because [most people] believe that she has perished in a raging inferno. That gives her some breathing room to think through the issue, and from what I can tell, her plan is to come back and deal with Victor afterward. But saving Ethan and getting him to safety is her top priority. I believe they placed it in the ideal location for me to return at some point. The good news is that even though I am still ill, it has been demonstrated that I can do it, even though I haven’t received word from them about when or if I would be returning.
General Hospital Spoilers: What’s Next For Holly?
“And for me, that is very, very heartwarming to know,” Emma continued. Given my health issues and all the factors and considerations Frank organized, we now know it is feasible for me, and returning would definitely be something [I would be open to]. Since I live in England, I can’t work there full-time, but if they’ll have me, I think it would be wonderful! And the fact that the supporters would also like to see that means a lot to me.
