Spoilers for General Hospital hint Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) is skilled at deceiving others. He has been doing this for a while, and as far as Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) is concerned, he shows no indications of stopping down.
We can assume that Holly was in Victor’s grasp two years ago when she was officially pronounced dead. While everyone in Port Charles mourned her passing, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) persisted in holding out hope that she may be alive despite his lack of resources to do so. Now that Holly has returned, it is clear that she has changed. Is that because Victor is in charge of all of her actions?
General Hospital Spoilers — This Sounds Familiar
If Victor is the mastermind behind Holly’s behavior, it’s probably got more to do with how he’s controlling her mind than who he’s holding hostage away from her. Sure, Holly is noticeably devastated that Victor has someone she loves tucked away, and she’s constantly worried harm may come to them if she doesn’t obey Victor, but some of his orders are outlandish, even for a grieving Holly who is trying to protect the person she loves. Could it be Victor has adapted what he learned about Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) being conditioned and is now using the same experiment on Holly?
GH Spoilers Tease Victor May Have Other Captives
It’s been reported that Victor is holding other hostages, yet Holly might only be aware of the prisoner who is extremely important to her. Fans speculate that individual might be Luke Spencer or Nathan Parsons’ Ethan Lovett (Anthony Geary).
Victor is used to holding people captive, even for years at a time. He’s an expert at this game, and he plans to finish it. He will proceed to the next round after this one is finished. Victor keeps certain loved ones in captivity on ice because he never knows when he might need someone to submit to his will.
General Hospital Spoilers — Holly Knows Not Why She Does What She Does
Fortunately for Holly, she might not genuinely remember the previous two years. Victor had the power to erase her memories. But that wouldn’t really explain why she can recall anything from the past two years. Holly is aware that her actions are shameful and that if her friends find out, they might never forgive her. She killed Lynn Herring (Lucy Coe)! She may not even realize Lucy is gone.
She will never be able to forget that. Holly has no understanding why she’s following these directions in this manner, thus manipulating her—whether through tarot card activation or some other method—hasn’t helped her escape from the memory of what she does.
