General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, March 17, tease that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will talk about life being full of surprises and will seem pleased over some news. It sounds like Laura will get updates on the decision that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and all her friends have reached.
Trina came to the conclusion that Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) cannot receive true justice while she is in this condition after speaking with Esme.
Trina has urged that the charges be dropped for the time being since she doesn’t want Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) to be imprisoned for months.
Trina emphasized that Esme would still be under threat, though.
Trina believes Esme will have a better chance of being found guilty if the DA decides not to press charges and Esme ultimately exhibits symptoms that her memory has returned.
As everyone is on board with Trina’s plan—including Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), and Cameron Webber (William Lipton)—they’ll soon allow Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) to work her legal magic.
The option to avoid the trouble of a trial may be presented to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) by Diane, who will adamantly assert that she is going to make someone’s day.
Robert will inquire as to what Diane is suggesting and what she would have him do.
Esme’s independence for the time being appears to be something Robert will ultimately agree to, even if it will be a difficult decision.
Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will press Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to let her know that this nightmare is coming to an end at the safe home.
Lucy will unfortunately not receive the information she was looking for, therefore she will become angry once more and seek solace from Valentin.
The unredacted file that Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) promised might finally be delivered on Friday’s GH episode, but it will surely be a doctored version.
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will question Eileen’s claim that this is the end of her business with him.
Victor will make it evident that the deputy mayor is still under his control because she is still looking for opportunities to prove her worth.
Naturally, Victor is unaware that Eileen is working closely with Laura, Anna, Valentin, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), and Laura.
If Eileen wants to keep that a secret and live, she will need to exercise caution.
In the meantime, Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) will hear from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) about Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) most recent mob drama and how it has left her divided.
Nina wasn’t sure she wanted to know the specifics of Sonny’s business, but she has changed her mind.
If Nina determines that this is not a relationship she can maintain, Phyllis will encourage her to make changes.
Nina might need to pressure Sonny to tell her everything if she can’t handle the concealment.
In other words, if Nina wants to survive in Sonny’s world, she may have to accept the good, the bad, and the ugly!
Sonny will reveal the most recent threat to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and almost certainly make a pledge to keep everyone safe.
Carly will counter that they are both aware that Sonny cannot make such a guarantee and that she is concerned about anyone – including Sonny – being harmed.
Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will pull out a gun and display anxiety of a sneak assault.
Thankfully, we are aware that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will covertly corner Dex for a meeting; hence, she will most likely be the one lurking about.
Josslyn won’t be pleased if Dex is forced to reveal the gunfire and the fact that he was shot while defending Sonny.
According to General Hospital spoilers, the threat will cause Josslyn to worry more and more, so she’ll be hoping Dex can finish this task as soon as possible.
