As Laura Collins (Genie Francis) tells Victor Cassadine, the fallout from General Hospital will be glorious (Charles Shaughnessy). Could this be what she refers to when she retaliates against his stooge, the treacherous Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur)?

General Hospital Spoilers: Eileen Ashby Wanted Out – He Wouldn’t Let Her

Victor recently heard Eileen say she wanted to leave, but he refused to let her. She protested the execution and expressed outrage that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), who wasn’t actually slain, had been. His pretended demise was part of a scheme to eliminate Victor, thinking that Victor would become more exposed as a result. Victor is susceptible, and there are indications that the drug Holly Scorpio (Emma Samms) had Selina Wu (Lydia Look) use to spike his drink is indeed working as intended.

She frequently hears a “deceased” Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) speaking to her, proving that the gaslighting scheme against Eileen is also effective! Anna isn’t entirely gone either—she uses a computer software to communicate with her via her mobile phone and vehicle radio.

GH Spoilers: Laura Collins Is In On The Plot

Of course, Laura, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), and Martin Grey, Laura’s brother, are all involved in the “deceased Valentin” scheme (Michael E. Knight). He is currently residing in the safe home, which is most likely being supplied by Lucy Coe, Charlotte Cassadine, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), as well as (Lynn Herring).

However, Eileen’s most recent directives have her trembling in her high-heeled boots because she worries Laura is on to her and that she will then be of no use to Victor. Although she is unaware that Valentin, Lucy, and Anna are still living, she worries that Laura will call to dismiss her, which could spell her doom due to Victor. When she arrives at the conference, however, the reason Laura called her in will almost send her over the brink.

General Hospital Spoilers: Two Can Play At That Game

Laura has been discussing the gaslighting scheme to get Eileen to admit what information she has provided to Victor with Valentin, Anna, and herself while having a wonderful time. Dr. Kevin Collins, her spouse, has been informed of the scheme by her (Jon Lindstrom), and he is present at the conference with poor, poor Eileen. Thanks to the use of a software that generates holograms of a “dead” Valentin and Anna, Kevin, and Laura act along, the “auditory hallucinations” now become visible ones.

Eileen does not turn on Victor, but they are successful in getting her out of Laura’s office, and the result is magnificent as Eileen screams in fear. Kevin suggests Eileen, who is “hallucinating,” take a leave of absence and get assessed at Ferncliff.
