General Hospital Spoilers: Esme Learns Victor Is In The Castle — Will He Set Her Free?

Spoilers for General Hospital indicate Until the baby is born, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) may be forced to live her life on Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) terms, at which point she still won’t have much control over the course of her life. In actuality, Esme feels more alone the further along her pregnancy she gets.

She doesn’t even have her nanny, Maggie Fitzgerald, at this point; she doesn’t even have a mother to turn to. These kinds of connections would be advantageous for the majority of young women who would become mothers for the first time. Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), who openly despises Esme, is the only support Esme has. Esme might come up with a scheme to get someone else’s attention if she finds out they are nearby.

The next time Elizabeth checks in on Esmé, she might be in a hurry to wrap things up and get out of there. Could her swift demeanor be a sign that Victor is home and she doesn’t want him getting curious about what she’s up to? Certainly, Nikolas can occupy his uncle and keep him at bay. When Elizabeth is careless and lets it slip that Victor has moved in, Esmé just might think he will be her shot at making a break for it. Should she refrain from getting her hopes up though? What does she have to offer Victor one change for helping her.

GH Spoilers Hint Esme Sets Her Sights on Victor as Her Savior

Esmé might believe that if she can simply get Victor to the north tower, everything he discovers there will make sense. There can only be one explanation for Nikolas holding a heavily pregnant Esmé hostage, right? He is attempting to keep Esmé and the infant a secret from everyone, but especially from Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). Given that Victor likes to gain control over others, he might approach Esmé as an ally.

Nikolas, though, has been acting very carelessly. He is ruthless as well, and Victor isn’t in a good place right now with the PCPD hounding him for proof that he framed Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Can Victor really afford to focus on assisting Esmé at this time? Can he, however, afford to be discovered doing anything better for his nephew?

Esmé’s assistance would be advantageous to Victor if he could find a place to keep her safe. Victor thinks it’s a great idea to keep her hidden until she gives birth. If he even dared to believe for a moment that he could trust her enough to stay out, he would do the same thing and might even be willing to put her up now. But she’s too damn curious, and she has too many grudges she wants to avenge. Esmé can actually help Victor the most by simply letting him know that she is pregnant and present so that he can raise the issue with Nikolas.
