General Hospital Spoilers: Esme Is Devastated As Elizabeth Turns Further In Nikolas’ Favor

General Hospital spoilers reveal Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has been scheming every which way she can drum up to try to get Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) to set her free, and to no avail. Esme will have to try harder next time if she hopes to bust out of the north tower anytime before her baby is born.

Since plotting against Elizabeth and trying to dupe her hasn’t worked, Esme might consider trying to connect with her in a real way, mother to mother. The attempt might backfire, but her bag of tricks is running low and she thinks she has a shot at appealing to the more maternal side of Elizabeth’s personality.

General Hospital Spoilers — Esme Mays a Plea to Elizabeth’s Maternal Side

Elizabeth could be taken aback when Esme asks her what she would do if someone tried to abduct one of her baby boys. Elizabeth is aware that Esme is a cunning liar and that practically everything she says is intended to forward her personal agenda. She could therefore be reluctant to have a meaningful or in-depth talk with her at all. Elizabeth may also treat Esme as though she doesn’t deserve the same respect as other mothers because of the choices she has made, but does she really feel that way on the inside? Whether Liz likes it and displays it for Esme or not, these two may begin to relate to one another as mothers.

GH Spoilers Tease Esme Gets Her Hopes Up as Elizabeth Talks Her Down

Esme will talk about all the typical milestones that pregnant women experience as she begins to get thrilled about meeting her child. Elizabeth was shocked to learn that Esme was actually taking the prenatal vitamins she had given her, as she had informed Esme in a way that seemed to beg the question of why on Earth she wouldn’t take them if they were helpful for the kid.

Elizabeth will become more aware of Esme’s maternal attitudes as the pregnancy goes on and will get to know her a little bit better as a result. Will Esme be able to see her error of judgment and abandon her intentions for retaliation in favor of trying to keep her baby with Elizabeth’s understanding and patience?

General Hospital Spoilers — Elizabeth Walks Out

Elizabeth will continue to be a member of Team Nikolas for a while. Given what Esme did to Cameron “Cam” Webber, Elizabeth in particular has a difficult reputation to overcome with regard to all of Port Charles (William Lipton). When Elizabeth and Esme have a momentary connection, Esme can immediately revert to her old habits and try to take advantage of the opportunity to get what she wants out of Elizabeth.

When Liz walks out, she will tell Esme that she is not like Esme and that she never had to worry about losing her kids. Will she become more sympathetic when Esme’s maternal tendencies emerge?
