General Hospital Spoilers: Esme Hopes To Bargain For Her Freedom After It’s Proven She’s Not The Hook

Spoilers for General Hospital indicate Back on the mainland, The Hook is going to slam someone else with its icy death grip. Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), meantime, is secretly locked in a tower at Wyndemere. Nobody is speaking for her. Charade is nowhere to be found. Instead, the solution is more straightforward than Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) could have ever imagined. Esme is not The Hook, and she is unsure of their identity. She will be filled with hope that this whole living in a tower thing can end when she learns that her name has been cleared, at least as far as Nikolas and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) are concerned. However, Nikolas has different ideas.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Hook Claims Another Victim

The Hook will attack their fifth victim, who will once more be a someone close to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Esme won’t be bothered in the least by it, and if she can find any, she could even find the specifics enjoyable. She is being kept largely cut off from daily happenings by Nikolas and Elizabeth. Esme will be eager to learn any new developments in the case, which Nikolas insisted was the main justification for keeping her there.

Since that tragic night when she met Elizabeth on the docks, Esme hasn’t left the tower. She was rescued by Nikolas when he found her and they were immediately led back to Spoon Island, where she has been ever since. Esme could not possibly have been harassing anyone in Port Charles recently, much less doing it while holding a hook in her extremely pregnant abdomen. No one else will be certain that she is innocent and not a murderer, even if Nikolas and Elizabeth will be certain of it. Elizabeth, who is concerned about her son’s safety, will be bothered by it. Who else in the world could be The Hook if Esme isn’t?

General Hospital Spoilers — It’s Time to Strike a Deal

Esme is aware that Nikolas is holding her hostage in his house for other reasons. He is adamant that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), his wife, not learn that he has fathered a child with Esme. Nobody knows how he intends to conceal that after the baby is born. So that he won’t ever have to tell Ava the truth, is he hoping to send his child off to one of his islands to be raised by a nanny and caretakers? That would not result in a relationship with his future child that is any better than his current one with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).

If Nikolas just lets Esme leave and makes it easier for her to get support for herself and the child, may she use his flaws against him and assist him in negotiating a means to stay in his child’s life covertly?
