Spoilers for General Hospital indicate Because Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) moved to the area, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) didn’t feel that he needed to worry about his past becoming public knowledge. They are longtime friends, and Dante has so far had faith that Cody will continue to watch out for him.
When Dante hears what Cody recently said to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), he will be forced to reevaluate the friend he had previously assumed he knew. Is Sam’s worry justified? Is Cody intending to endanger the comfortable lifestyle Dante has established for himself in Port Charles, or is Sam exaggerating the severity of the situation?
General Hospital Spoilers — Sam Rattled Dante’s Cage
Prior to Sam bringing Cody up on Thanksgiving and giving Dante a lot to think about, Dante was cruising along just fine. Why is she now inquiring about his relationship with Cody in the past? Why would Cody dare suggest anything about Dante is dubious in his conversation with Sam, and what was he pointing to? He hopes Sam will leave Dante, but why? Is he envious of Dante’s life that he has created for himself? What is Cody pursuing, and why can’t he get his hands on it without destroying Dante first?
GH Spoilers Indicate Dante and Cody Have Words
Cody should be able to answer these well, and Dante will set aside some time to get to the heart of his discussion with Sam. However, he can’t really question her about what Cody said without alerting her to his unease and mistrust. He will therefore have to depend on Cody’s account of what happened.
Will Cody be honest with him about what he did for Sam and the accusations she leveled? Likely not, and Sam wouldn’t want him to because if Dante asked him why he believed Cody had been pursuing Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) before he ever arrived in Port Charles, it may implicate Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). Did he always have Dante in mind as a target?
General Hospital Spoilers — Cody Grows Bitter and Resentful
Cody will save face and agree with Dante when Dante confronts him in an effort to put the past behind them, but he may have other plans for Dante in the future. Cody wants the same thing for himself, and it is undeniable that Dante has had a good life in the end. He fails to recognize, though, that his decisions have brought him to this point.
Because of a mistake they both made in the past that Cody took the fall for alone, he would prefer to place the blame on Dante. It will be difficult to persuade Cody to think otherwise if he attributes that one incident with throwing his entire life off course. Will Dante recognize Cody’s resentment and willingness to put him in his place before it’s too late and it’s too late? To learn more, keep checking back for more GH news and spoilers.
