Spoilers for General Hospital indicate For what feels like a very long time, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) have been anticipating the day they might say “I do.” They are just a few months away from meeting at the end of the aisle despite all the obstacles in their path, and they don’t see any more obstacles – except than perhaps one.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Portia are at odds, and while Curtis may not be aware of this at the moment, it might seriously interfere with their wedding plans. Jordan has been keeping to herself and working hard, but when she receives their wedding invitation in the mail, it will pique her interest once again in preventing Curtis from getting married again. Will Jordan be forced to inform Curtis herself if Portia won’t admit that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) might possibly be his daughter?
General Hospital Spoilers — Love is in the Air
When Curtis suggested to Portia that they get married on Valentine’s Day, she thought it was entirely too soon to throw a wedding together by then. However, the excitement of doing it so soon got her in the spirit and she joyfully agreed. When they told Jordan their wedding date and how it was just around the corner, she seemed surprised that Portia wouldn’t allow for more time than that to figure out what she was going to do.
Jordan might not be an advocate of waiting any longer to tell Curtis, but she’s trying to stay in her lane. For the time being, she’s going to continue to pretend she’s supportive of their engagement and impending marriage — at least to Curtis’ face.
GH Spoilers Hint Jordan is Unsettled
Jordan isn’t going to like the thought of Curtis getting ready for his wedding to a woman who has been lying to him for almost twenty years, but can she really spoil this love celebration without coming off as the bad guy? If Jordan deflates this bubble, she risks losing Curtis’ friendship, and let’s face it, she secretly wants more from him than just friendship. If Jordan tells the truth before Portia, there will be no chance of reconciliation. Jordan will be hoping that Portia’s response to her ultimatum will be drastic as a result. Jordan really doesn’t want to deliver this disappointing news.
General Hospital Spoilers — The Ultimatum
That invitation to a wedding will make Jordan sick. She won’t feel joy for Curtis, but rather sorrow as she thinks back on her own wedding to him and how their relationship ended. She has no desire for Curtis to wed someone who isn’t being truthful with him. Jordan will be content with his decision if Portia tells Curtis the truth and he chooses to pardon her.
Jordan would respect his decision, even though it might hurt because Curtis couldn’t bring himself to forgive her for hiding the truth from him for what appeared to be more acceptable reasons. However, if she witnesses him wed Portia while he’s still unaware, she won’t be able to respect herself. Jordan is aware that Curtis should hear this from the spouse he is currently living with, not the spouse he just divorced. So she’s going to compel Portia’s hand and make it clear that Jordan will tell Curtis if she doesn’t before her wedding.
