General Hospital spoilers tease, when Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) first came to Port Charles, he wasn’t happy to see Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) — the last man to care for his mother. He had assumed Scott gave his mother’s estate away, and Cody came to town intent to take back what is rightfully his. To start, he socked Scott in the face, and the two haven’t been kosher ever since. When Cody comes calling in need of some sage advice, will Scott turn him away?

Kelly Thiebaud’s character, Britt Westbourne, has become more interested in Cody than she would care to admit. Therefore, it seems to reason that she would want her mother, Liel Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), to accept Cody’s presence in her life. After all, Liesl was the one who persuaded Britt to join the Society Setups and wanted her to fall in love once more even if she wasn’t ready for it. Liesl hasn’t changed, though. Cody is not a favorite of hers, and neither is Scott. How does that help Cody when he wants Scott’s advice on how to handle his present estate situation?

GH Spoilers Tease Cody Doesn’t Know What to Do

When Cody initially arrived in town, he may have had plans to look into his mother’s estate, but without an estate to look into, he was unable to display those plans as he had planned. The jewelry Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia) gifted Dominique Baldwin (Shell Danielson) would have been more practical if it had been deposited in a trust or even Scott’s personal safe. The necklace had to have been among Leopold’s possessions as he knew it was not among his mother’s. To have any chance of obtaining ownership of the priceless gems, Cody would have to avoid his putative biological father Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and pretend Leopold is his father.

General Hospital Spoilers — Does Scott Have the Answer?

Scott won’t know what to make of the necklace when Cody asks him for advice on how to handle it while it’s in Britt’s care. He’ll be wary right away because, let’s face it, Scott is wary of everything. He will be worried that Britt might not be aware of Cody’s desire to assert his purported birthright. She does?

Britt previously appeared more than prepared to give Cody the necklace, but Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is still looking into the specifics and Britt wants to make sure everything is handled legally, if the necklace is even hers. Is it feasible that Leopold no longer owned the necklace at the time of his death due to a legal transfer, rendering Cody’s fake father plot pointless?
