General Hospital Spoilers: Carolyn Is Back In Port Charles
The most recent issue of Soap Opera Digest claims that Carolyn visits General Hospital in the hope of reconciling with her estranged daughter, despite how difficult that will be. Denise Crosby, who plays the part, is aware that Carolyn won’t have an easy time of it because Liz has no good reason to ever trust her biological mother again.
In a recent interview, Denise stated as follows: “The circumstance calls for her to take her best shot. Although she is aware that things may go disastrously wrong, she cannot live with herself if she doesn’t take the risk. She aspires to establish a relationship with her daughter and make atonement for an almost unforgiveable offence.
She tries to persuade Elizabeth to see things from her perspective by explaining how she truly believed she was acting morally when she tried to shield her daughter from the trauma that had occurred.

Elizabeth finds that extremely challenging, but I believe she understands her mother’s suffering, sorrow, and remorse.
According to General Hospital teasers, Carolyn’s next trip is Wyndermere, where Nikolas surprises her by asking for her assistance with Esme, which he presents as being advantageous to Liz. He doesn’t give Carolyn all the facts, but he does somewhat ram home to her that “Your daughter is in peril and you’ve got to assist her,” says Denise.
