Spoilers for General Hospital indicate Laura Wright’s character Carly Spencer is a master at digging herself a good hole. She’s been hiding the fact that Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) birth mother is Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and she’s going to have to make up a lot of new lies to cover up the original one she told.
A DNA test Carly had conducted to determine if Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) was speaking the truth or not about Nina revealed that she was, but Carly told Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) it was the exact opposite. She is now frantically trying to conceal the facts so Nina, Drew, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Willow, and other people don’t know what she has done.
General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Gets a Detour
Drew was giddy with anticipation when he learned that there was a new tip in the hunt for Willow’s biological parents. He was reminded that Carly was available to assist him with everything he wanted as she pretended to be eager. Although he was appreciative, he assured her that he didn’t want to burden his source.
So, he would meet with them on his own, and he will call Carly afterward — right after he calls Willow to fill her in. Carly isn’t interested in suggesting he doesn’t call Willow and get her hopes up, because she knows she’s going to make sure there’s nothing new for Drew to report as she plots to sabotage his search.
GH Spoilers Tease Willow’s Cancer Comes to Light
The reason Willow is actually hunting for the people who gave her life will become clear in the midst of her search for her birth parents. Willow doesn’t see why she needs to know her origins in order to move on with her life. She would value any medical information her birth parents could provide, but she is also happy to live without it. Because they are her best and maybe only chance at receiving a bone marrow transplant, which may be necessary to save both her life and the lives of her pregnant child, Willow is frantic to track out her birth parents.
General Hospital Spoilers — Carly is in Too Deep to Turn Back
This information will surprise everyone in Michael and Willow’s family, even Carly. Carly believed she was simply hiding a secret that nobody was ever going to find out. Carly assumed it was nothing serious when Willow changed her mind and said she was interested in learning more about her biological parents and that she wouldn’t be very sad if she never found them.
Moving forward, Carly will find it much more difficult to swallow her intentions to ensure that Willow still doesn’t find out because she might need to know that Nina is her mother in order to save her life. Nina might be able to save Willow’s life, but Carly might lose Willow, the unborn child, Michael, and Drew as a result. Has she already been lost in all of this chaos?
