According to GH spoilers, Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Austin Gatlin-Holt will experience additional drama soon (Roger Howarth). When they hid Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) in that Wyndemere closet, they believed he had long since passed away, but recent discoveries have shown his body has vanished. Fans are aware that Nik is still alive and being cared for by Austin’s cousin Mason Gatlin while on life support, of course (Nathanyeal Grey). The excellent doctor will eventually find out, but will he surprise Ava with this information?
GH Spoilers: Mason Will Continue To String Austin Along & Keep Him Under His Thumb
According to GH spoilers, Mason might tell Austin about Nik soon, and if he does, it’ll only be to use blackmail to force his cousin to do what “the family” wants. When the two ran into each other on March 6th, Mason made a hint that he was aware of what his cousin and Jerome had been up to.
Mason also hinted that he intended to put Austin in his place by publicly disclosing this information. Although it’s unclear why Mason needs Austin’s help in certain situations, one thing is certain: the doctor will keep following orders for his cousin and family to make sure Cassadine’s privacy is protected. Will he however inform Ava of Mason, his acquaintance with Nik, and the background of his family?
GH Spoilers: Austin Finds That Nikolas Is Alive, But Does He Tell Ava?
There’s a good chance that Austin keeps his mouth shut about Cassadine and Mason, whether or not he learns that Nik is not actually dead. He must explain to Ava why he must follow Mason’s instructions if he shares what he knows with her. Their discussions of their family dynamics have remained cryptic to this point.
Why would Jerome be informed about Mason or Austin’s activities any time soon when viewers aren’t aware of them? There is a high possibility that the doctor will keep his family drama concealed from Ava as well because he couldn’t trust Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) with it (for the time being).
