General Hospital was under seize with the horrid Hook Killer on the loose when things got even darker, with the return of Heather Webber. The dreadful lady had been off the screen for a while, therefore, viewers were quite surprised when she suddenly appeared back in October, 2022.

Many fans are sad that Robin hasn’t returned, despite Alley Mills’ excellent work frightening us as the wacky menace Heather Webber. On November 11, 2022, Robin Mattson broke her silence regarding the true cause of her choice to not come back after being moved by the fan response on social media. Robin gave a life update and shared a photo on her official Facebook and Instagram profiles, along with an explanation of why she left General Hospital.

In the charming image, Robin is seated at her outdoor table and enjoying the scent of a gorgeous stalk of red roses. She has more roses laid out on the table in front of her. It appears that the General Hospital star has taken up flower arranging as a new passion! We must confess that her garden’s springs are beautiful.
In addition to sharing the picture, Robin also answered the crucial query. It’s comforting to Robin to hear that her admirers are missing her as she recovers from knee surgery. She wanted to respond to their inquiries because they had been trying to find out what had happened to her. I’ll undergo hip replacement surgery today. She added more details.
When she took on the role of Heather Webber in 1980, Robin Mattson became a member of the General Hospital cast. She continued to play a significant role in the soap opera, terrifying the residents of Port Charles for years. She eventually left the role, though, and went on to portray a variety of other parts on other popular daily soaps. Some of these include Santa Barbara and All My Children. During her stint in General Hospital, she has been part of many criminal activities, such as stabbing her own son, Stephen Lars. No wonder, she has had such a lasting impression on long time GH viewers. It’s certainly hard to see someone else embody the character of Heather Webber. Addressing the love and fanfare, Robin wrote in her post, “Thank you all for your love and support.”
