Marcus Coloma appears to be carrying grudges in this situation. On the podcast “That’s Awesome,” which is hosted by Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson, the former General Hospital celebrity recently revealed that he was given the chance to extend his contract with the programme. Instead, he seemed to be getting the cold shoulder from the producers. What he says is as follows.

Marcus admitted to Bradford and Steve that while he didn’t anticipate being on General Hospital indefinitely, he also didn’t anticipate being let off as quickly as he was. In his own words, the actor said, “I was like, I’m going to do it for three years. I hope to leave this place a more accomplished actor. I want to do a lot of new things, get more confidence, and feel more at ease on set. And I was aware that I would go in three years.
Marcus said, “There were many parts of working on the popular ABC soap that I adored.” “Now, the story line of it was intriguing,” he said, “because I met you guys and I met all of the other cast and fell in love with the crew and everyone along with it. Two and a half years later, you’re thinking, “Ooh, this decision that was so clear in the beginning is getting complicated.” This is because I kind of love a lot of things about it, even though, as you said, it might be a situation where wearing the decision could be like wearing golden handcuffs for some. It wasn’t like GH was saying, “Hey, Marcus, we want you to remain,” but I already knew that the end was near. There was no haggling or anything of the kind. I don’t know why that choice was taken, but all I can say is that I don’t harbour any ill will. It didn’t seem like I was let go; more like, I dunno.
General Hospital News: What’s Next For Marcus?
The actor continued by saying that he would have to give it some thought even if he were asked to remain in the programme. In any case, Adam Huss has subsequently taken his place.
