General Hospital News: James Patrick Stewart Opens Up About Some Of His Favorite Things

Sometimes you think you know your favorite daytime television star until you realize that there’s probably not a lot that you know about them. Thankfully, there are a good number of them who love to share personal details about their lives with their fans. And that’s exactly what General Hospital star James Patrick Stuart recently did in a new interview with Soap Opera Digest. Here’s what he has to say!

The actor, who is best known for playing Valentin Cassadine on the popular ABC soap opera, spoke candidly with the journal about some of his likes and dislikes. He mentioned that his preferred alcoholic beverage is Ensure and that he enjoys having sausage and mushrooms on his pizza. You have to appreciate a man with a sense of humor, don’t you?

James responded, “I had three that meant a lot to me. I hung them on the wall of my teenage bedroom. The precious one to me was Brooke Shields from Blue Lagoon. I had an original one-sheet of Jaws, which today would be worth many thousands of dollars, and an original one-sheet of Star Wars, which would be worth even more.

James added that his favorite television program as a child was BJ and the Bear and that he adores Paul McCartney.

General Hospital News: What’s Next James?

James made the announcement of his return to daytime television in March after a brief absence. James took a sabbatical from the soap industry to focus on a different project, the Disney+ series Villains of ValleyView, as many fans are well aware. Currently filming the eighth episode of the new Disney+ comedy “Villains of ValleyView” (formerly “Meet the Mayhem’s”) when asked when he’ll be returning to Port Charles, James tweeted, “Missing GH very much and pleased to inform Valentin will be back in March.” According to Deadline, the show centers on the tale of a young girl named Havoc who confronts the supremely evil person, compelling her family to change their names and move to a suburb of Texas where she now goes by the name Amy.
