At General Hospital, Nikolas Cassadine is facing some very challenging circumstances. When Esme Prince returned to Port Charles while carrying a baby bump, he had already started to slip downward. He made every effort to keep the information under wraps, but how long could he really have held her hostage?
She eventually managed to get away, and word of it spread. What little of his marriage to Ava survived was irrevocably shattered by this. Ava struck him in the head with a statue in a fit of rage because their relationship had become so tense.
Nikolas Cassadine, The Dark Prince of General Hospital, appeared to have died in a fall for a few episodes here and there. But, it appears that he isn’t—at least, not yet! Mason whisked him off to a care facility after Ava and Austin hid his body in the stables.
Nik is currently unconscious and dangling on a thread. So if you ask us, there is still hope for the rebirth of The Dark Prince! Because they would have simply allowed him to pass away after Ava hit him over the head if the filmmakers had decided to permanently write off his character.

The Dark Prince Returns On General Hospital?
When might that occur if Nikolas is truly returning to General Hospital healthy? Dave Rupel, a writer for GH, recently made an appearance on The Locher Room. He made several allusions to what will happen next on the ABC soap opera.
He mentions possible early May sweeps in addition to the Nurses Ball and the special program for Epiphany. He made a small mistake there, which made our Spidey senses perk up.
Dave Rupel claims at one time that during May sweeps all the generations will converge to General Hospital. Nikolas, Trina, and Laura were a few of the characters he continued by mentioning.
He then made an effort to hide his mistake by claiming that Nikolas was Spencer. Yet we believe Nikolas was the main target.
Hey, he’s only asleep on the bed, ready to be awakened! But, a significant query comes up in this situation.
Who will resurrect Nikolas if he dies in May? Who will bring him back, specifically, in terms of who will play the role following his revival?
