‘General Hospital’: Is Luke Spencer Really Dead?

Legendary General Hospital character Luke Spencer reportedly died. The fan favourite may still be alive and being imprisoned against his will on GH, according to many hints. And soon, further information regarding his “death” on the ABC sudser could surface.

General Hospital: Luke Spencer “Dead”

On GH, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) just revealed the sad news that Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) had passed away. He allegedly perished in a cable car mishap.

Everyone was, of course, devastated. Laura Spencer Collins, Luke’s ex-wife, was inconsolable (Genie Francis). Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), a lifelong buddy, and super spy Anna Devane were also there (Finola Hughes).

The news stunned every veteran at General Hospital. His friends and family were able to say their final goodbyes during a lovely memorial service. However, it didn’t offer the resolution they were hoping for.

Laura is certain that Charles Shaughnessy’s Victor Cassadine was responsible for the killing of her ex. And every member of the legacy cast concurs. Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), Anna, and Robert all concur.

And they are committed to establishing Victor’s guilt. Fans are aware that Vic gave the order to kill Luke, though, of course. But what if he just wants everyone to believe that?

Luke Still Alive on GH?


Observers on General Hospital think Victor is imprisoned and that Luke Spencer is still alive. The mega-villain has a talent for using hostages as a kind of leverage.

He held Liesl Obrecht and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) hostage (Kathleen Gati). Additionally, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) and Ethan Lovett, her child (Nathan Parsons).

Lucy Coe, most recently (Lynn Herring). While they were Vic’s hostages, all of these persons were assumed to be dead. He’s probably doing the same thing to Luke as well.

Fans of General Hospital also believe he is incarcerated there with Lucy. If so, he may have been present when Anna and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) saved Lucy, directly in front of Anna’s eyes.

They aren’t looking for him because they believe he is dead, though. Instead, they want to discredit Vic and clear Anna’s name. However, Luke could still be in the Parisian jail. It is true that Luke’s existence makes sense given that viewers don’t like the manner he “died.”

It makes no sense for him to pass away in a freak accident off-screen. Anthony Geary, who played him, is still alive and well. Fans therefore don’t get why he would be murdered off. Unless there’s something else,

Tracy Q Return Could Signal Major Twist on General Hospital

This April, Tracy will return to General Hospital for a lengthier arc. Her homecoming is very welcome news. However, it can also be a sign that Luke will appear shortly.

She could participate in the quest to hold Victor accountable for killing her longtime partner. However, she and the others could get a shock and discover a cause to think he’s still alive. If so, their plan will end up being a rescue operation.

And Tracy may be in the spotlight. Anthony is obviously no longer acting. Therefore, the showrunners may bring him back off-screen. Then, when Tracy’s assignment is through, she’ll probably go back to Amsterdam to get back with Luke.

Tracy’s return appears to be related to this plot, in fact. And fans are hoping for a quick major surprise. Luke Spencer might not actually be dead, so be sure to watch every episode of the ABC soap opera.
