‘General Hospital’: Greedy Gladys Back – Cleans Sasha Out?

General Hospital’s Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is back to her old money-grubbing ways, and she may gamble away all of Sasha Gilmore‘s (Sofia Mattsson) money.

Poor Sasha can’t catch a break on GH. And her mother-in-law may soon make her go bankrupt on the ABC sudser.

General Hospital: Sasha Gilmore on the Mend

Sasha Gilmore is still mourning the loss of her husband, Brando Corbin, at this time on GH. She has, in fact, experienced tragedy after tragedy over the past few years. She first developed a drug addiction.

And Cyrus Renault, a drug-pusher gangster, came dangerously close to killing her. But when the model learned she was expecting Brando’s child, it seemed as though things were going in her favor.

According to General Hospital recaps, their baby boy tragically passed away. She resorted to drugs as a result to cope. She went into a tailspin and eventually lost both her position in Deception and her financial management. After Brando passed away, Gladys took the lead.

She also appeared to turn into Sasha Gilmore’s reliable confidante. But Gladys Corbin is also in mourning. And on General Hospital, she’s going back to her old ways.

She is obviously quite concerned about her daughter-in-law. She doesn’t want to harm her either. But she very well might be the reason for her next collapse.

Gladys Corbin Goes Downhill on GH

sarcastic General Hospital Gladys Corbin was a ruthless con artist when she first arrived and for a considerable period of time after. She just cared about money and getting what she believed she was entitled to.

She pushed Brando relentlessly when she initially arrived in Port Chuck. She desired for him to work in the mob for his cousin Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Gladys had this fantasy that Brando would replace Sonny as his right-hand man, making them both opulently wealthy and influential. Eventually, she modified her behavior at General Hospital.

Fans have come to adore Gladys as a warm and loving person today. But something has changed now that she is Sasha’s legal guardian and in charge of her finances. It also portends trouble.

Too Much for Sasha on General Hospital?

GH fans are outraged that Sasha keeps getting hit with heartache. Just as she begins to heal from one tragedy, another strikes. Viewers want her to be happy — at least for a little while.

But it doesn’t look like she’ll find happiness anytime soon. Gladys is now participating in Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) poker games at The Savoy. And chances are, she will gamble with Sasha’s money.

I doubt it at first. However, Gladys might start using Sasha’s money once she runs out of her own. General Hospital spoilers state that she will indeed believe it to be of no consequence and that she will quickly regain it.

She has always gambled in an effort to become wealthy quickly. Additionally, old habits are difficult to break. She could lose everything this time, though, and take Brando’s widow down with her.

One person can only withstand so much at once. And soon Gladys Corbin on the ABC soap opera might push Sasha Gilmore to her breaking point. Therefore, be sure to watch to see how it all turns out.
