General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors pose the question, will ‘Grifellie’ be Port Charles’ next hot couple? There isn’t any confirmation of either actor returning, but Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) and Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson) would be a cute couple.

General Hospital Spoilers – ‘Grifellie’ And Spinelli – They Half Rhyme

The moment Ellie, a GH lab technician, and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), who had the same odd style of speaking, fell in love will be remembered by viewers. Ellie needed a job, so they went to Portland, but it felt like their relationship was deteriorating over time. Ellie remained in Portland while Spinelli returned to Port Charles. Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher), daughter of Spinelli and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), appears to have bonded with Ellie to the point where there is now shared custody between Spinelli, Maxie, and Ellie.

But it was a pleasant surprise to find that Ellie wasn’t traveling to Port Charles just yet to create drama; she was remaining behind in Portland. Griffin, her boyfriend from Port Charles, turned out to be. Their amusing nickname can be “Grifellie” because it somewhat rhymes with “Spinelli.”

General Hospital Updates – Who Is Griffin Munro?

Some more recent viewers would not have recognized Griffin or known who he is, let alone Ellie. He was originally a priest and is the son of Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) from before he met and married Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). He became involved in a love triangle with Ava Cassadine (Maura West) and her deceased daughter Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin), and when Kiki was killed by Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), he departed the area. Griffin is a neuropathologist and neurosurgeon who specializes in the study and treatment of neurological and psychiatric disorders. General Hospital could use his services right now. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) might be a valuable addition to her Huntington’s Disease treatment plan if he stayed.

Ellie Trout Is A Lab Tech

Since Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) is working for his gangster aunt Selina Wu on General Hospital, viewers may recall that Ellie is a lab technician. GH might utilize Ellie as well (Lydia Look). Since the hospital currently appears to be understaffed, both Griffin and Ellie would immediately find new employment. Everyone seems to chip in when a number of doctors are pulled into circumstances outside of their areas of expertise, but no one seems to be a neurologist or a brain surgeon.

Griffin and Ellie are both have to return to GH, and tiny Georgie would benefit from having her entire family close by. They would add some help to the GH personnel who are already overburdened.
