General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Holly getting more desperate than ever to save her son from Victor’s wrath and when she runs into Laura on the pier, Laura better watch out.
General Hospital Spoilers – Is That Necklace Real?
After drugging Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) is on the pier and ready to deliver Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) the necklace she stole from him. All we can hope is that Robert was trying to fool Holly or he seems incredibly naive.
Things don’t quite go as Holly had hoped when she tries to avoid and get rid of Laura Collins (Genie Francis). As a result, Holly decides to take Laura hostage, which may not have been the greatest course of action given that Laura is the mayor and is more cunning than Holly. It’s not like these two women have ever gotten along very well. Emma Samms was utterly unprepared by the development when she read it in the script.
Of all persons, the queen of General Hospital and daytime,” Samms remarked in the Soap Opera Digest article from December 5, 2022. “Genie [Francis] is such a talented performer, and she exudes such a sweet and great vibe. It is absolutely a complete joy to be in a scene with you, I told her. At gunpoint, it was only a shape. But that’s as extreme as it goes in terms of stories.
General Hospital Updates – Holly Sutton Kidnaps And Leaves
Holly abandons Laura in an abandoned cabin when the hostage situation doesn’t turn out the way she had hoped, but Robert, Mac Scorpio (John J. York), and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) are close behind. Samms has compared Holly’s maneuvers to those of Jason Bourne in the Bourne Identity films, so she must be the shrewd escape artist that she is.
When the cabin Holly leaves Laura in catches fire, however, Holly finds that even becoming Jason Bourne does not make things any easier. At that point, events truly begin to change.
“The story gets better and better and more and more exciting,” Samms told Digest. “There are more twists and turns than I’ve ever encountered on a soap and that’s saying something.”
With Holly’s returns slated to be short-term, is this the end of Holly for now, and will Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) finally be able to come home and return to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)? Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see how this story plays out.
