Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), according to General Hospital Rumors, has been torturing her family for the past week. A twenty-year-old secret has finally come to light, and it poses a threat to everything Portia has established, including her marriage to Curtis Ashford and her bond with her daughter (Donnell Turner). It comes out that Portia’s self-serving conduct hasn’t really helped her much. She has infuriated Curtis, and their chance at a happily ever after is in jeopardy. Both her ex-husband, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews), and her daughter Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), refuse to talk to her. Even if it comes out that Marcus was Trina’s real father all along, Portia will be hoping that a paternity test can stop some of the discontent. However, the test won’t be able to save her marriage.
General Hospital Spoilers — The Paternity Pause
The information that Trina’s father might not be her father has still left her in shock. She requires more time to process her emotions before deciding how she wants to proceed, which is reasonable, but she is not the type of person to dwell and refuse to do so. She will move on, but for the time being, she needs to get ready for how her life might turn out if the results of the DNA test reveal that Curtis is her real father. Even though she’s been very clear that it wouldn’t change anything, she understands in her heart of hearts that learning Curtis is her biological father would alter how she thinks about him and might have an effect on her relationship with Marcus. She will quickly learn though that not knowing will have a comparable effect. Trina will eventually have the paternity test performed, and when it is revealed that Marcus has always been her father and still is, she will exhale with the greatest sense of relief.
General Hospital Updates – Portia Robinson Pushes Forward
He might consider Trina’s revelation that Curtis is just her stepdad more seriously than she does. Trina obviously didn’t want Curtis to be her father, but Curtis couldn’t help but harbour fantasies about the possibility that he might have sired a child as exceptional as Trina. After all, his potential intentions to have more children with Portia don’t seem to be very solid at the moment. Thinking of Portia, she might anticipate that this outcome will bring Curtis back into her life, but he actually has other ideas, like division.
Curtis Ashford Takes Two Steps Back
Portia was cautioned by Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) not to hide secrets from Curtis. An is ready to take on a lot of things, but being the only person in a relationship who is unaware of the reality isn’t one of them. While Portia had hoped that Curtis would propose they cut back their relationship now that he isn’t Trina’s father, he is going to do just the opposite.
