General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Sam Fears The Worst In Going After Cody

Spoilers for General Hospital (GH) indicate Josh Kelly’s character, Cody Bell, hopes that people would just keep to themselves. He had no known that the sentiments of other people would be his main obstacle in obtaining Leopold Taub’s necklace before arriving in Port Charles. One of the worst offenders is Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Everything has gone wrong since since Sam was hired by Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to look into the history of the necklace she discovered in Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) safe deposit box.

Sam hasn’t felt great about Cody since he moved to town, but because he’s a childhood friend of Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna), she has given him the benefit of the doubt. Sam appears to be wary of every move Cody makes, which is natural for her as a private eye. But this goes beyond that. It is personal. Cody believed he had no choice but to use Sam against him, and he most definitely has.

General Hosptial Updates – Cody Bell Leaves Sam Feeling Rattled

Cody’s past is undoubtedly complicated and intricately linked to Dante’s formative years. Although Cody hasn’t tried to disguise the fact that he’s not a perfect person, he appears to want to improve and wants people like Mac Scorpio (John J. York) to recognize the good in him.

Of course, he wants this while simultaneously deceiving everyone in an effort to assert his birthright to a $35 million necklace when in reality, he has no such right. Today, Cody has been a friendly visitor at the Quartermaines and a devoted buddy to Dante ever since he moved to Port Charles. But after being provoked by Sam, he might bite back and break his promise to Dante. Sam was shocked when he made the implication that he is more knowledgeable than Sam is about things Dante has done that he might not want to come to light. She might not be capable of climbing this tree.

Cody Bell Could Retaliate

Sam’s biggest concern is that Cody could hurt someone she loves again. Sure, he’s promised that he wasn’t going to use his leverage against Spinelli anymore, but that doesn’t change the fact that he has it if he decides to change his mind. Furthermore, it sounds like Cody might have dirt on Dante, and that’s the last person Sam would want to see get wrapped up in Cody’s melodrama.

Until Sam knows what it is that Dante did, she won’t have a true understanding of just how worried she should be that Cody could squeal. However, in the meantime, she still sees Cody as a massive threat; so she’s going to try to back off. We can’t say the same about Spinelli though.
