General Hospital (GH) Spoilers reveal Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is about to find out that life goes on even in grief. He will find an unlikely kinship in Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson) soon. Cody has been reeling over the death of Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) for days and he wants so badly to make sense of it all and undo his final weeks with her. Left with so many questions about how she really felt and what he could have done differently, Sasha may be able to help Cody sort through his feelings in a way no one else can. Is this sudden friendship going to serve as the building block for something bigger down the line?
General Hospital Spoilers — Cody Bell Is New At This
Grief is new for Cody, at least in this respect. Normally, he isn’t around in one place long enough to grow attached to anyone, much less become romantically interested in somebody. It surprised him the way he fell for Britt, especially given she was just supposed to be a mark he could use to get to what he thought he really wanted — a fortune. As it turns out, Sasha has that, and it may not be all it’s cracked up to be. Cody has come to realize the things that really matter are relationships with good people, and Sasha might see that in him.
General Hospital Updates – Sasha Gilmore Can Show Him The Ropes
Sasha is skilled at enjoying the little things in life despite success and popularity, and she also has firsthand knowledge of several of Cody’s struggles. Britt and Cody’s romance could not be compared to that of Sasha and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). They are both still mourning the death of the person they loved and had hoped to spend the rest of their lives with. Cody may use some encouraging words from Sasha on how to accept that he ultimately fell short of what Britt needed from him. If he has the guts to tell her anything about his decision to give up a relationship with his father, Mac Scorpio, she could also be able to throw some insight on how to move on from lying (John J. York). Sasha may be the ideal person for him to look to as an example of someone who deceived a decent person for the wrong reasons and still managed to make it all work out in the end, as was the case with her and Nina Reeves. However, it is unlikely that he will reveal the facts to her (Ch this Watros).
Trauma Bonds
It’s possible that this was just an accidental meeting. It’s possible that these two won’t ever cross paths again, or they might become friends who occasionally confide in one another. Fans might enjoy watching two heartbroken people who are mourning a love lost find their way back to themselves and move forward in love as a result of those encounters developing into more.
