Spoilers for General Hospital (GH) indicate She just isn’t aware of it, but Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has been in the heart of controversy for months. Brook Kerr’s character Portia Robinson believed she could keep Trina’s father a secret forever, but Tanisha Harper’s character Jordan Ashford was once again in the wrong place at the wrong time and overheard something. Now that she knows that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) might actually be Trina’s father, Jordan is powerless to change what she has learnt. The same supporters who have supported Curtis throughout the years and have admired his friendship with T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow) are also cheering for him to be Trina’s father. People can see that Curtis has the ability to be a good father at this point in his life and that he might potentially establish a bond with his own child and rekindle his romance with Jordan. General Hospital Updates – Team Taggert Holds Strong
The plotline involving Trina’s family, according to many fans, is their favorite. People adore the fact that despite Portia and Marcus Taggert’s (Réal Andrews) inability to make their marriage work, they were still able to maintain their family. Trina’s parents have always been by her side, and they have never compromised Trina’s needs out of loyalty to their ex-partners.
While Curtis battled addiction and occasionally failed to mature over the years, Taggert was the shield she needed. Although Taggert isn’t flawless (he did let his daughter believe he was dead, after all), fans claim that despite Curtis’s current state of well-reformedness, Taggert has remained a reliable and responsible father figure for a longer period of time than Curtis would have.
Team Trina is Where It’s At
While many of us are debating whether Curtis or Taggert should be Trina’s father, few people appear to be concerned about what Trina might experience if the situation changed. She has butted heads with Curti a few times, but not any more than she probably would with her dad normally. But the revelation that Portia had kept this a secret all these years will fundamentally alter Trina’s relationship with her mother. Is it really necessary for this poor youngster to lose her only father?
