General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) has confessed her crimes to the PCPD. She is free of the burden of worrying that someone else will rat her out and leave her exposed and vulnerable to prosecution. Instead, she gets to walk free with full immunity for coming forward and rolling over on her longtime best friend, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss). However, Elizabeth just can’t shake the feeling she got when she last spoke to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) about her intentions. Was there more to it?

Elizabeth and Ava are not close friends, so it was out of character for Ava to drop by Elizabeth’s house and ask about her personal life, especially after she had been made to believe Liz was having an affair with her husband, Nik. Elizabeth was shocked to learn that Ava had simply swung by out of worry for her and to let her know that Nikolas had left town and wouldn’t be calling the police. Why would Ava decide to assist Elizabeth at this time? She is familiar enough with Ava to know that she never takes any actions that don’t immediately benefit her. What would Ava gain by Elizabeth not turning herself in?

General Hospital Updates – Elizabeth Baldwin Told The Truth

Elizabeth has admitted it, and Ava is aware of this. Ava knew she and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) had to move quickly to get rid of Nikolas’ body in the stables before the PCPD started going over Spoon Island with a fine-toothed comb after Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) led her to believe Elizabeth was off at the PCPD giving them her version of events. Elizabeth had no idea what Ava would think of her confession, but she will soon find out when Finn informs her of how eager Ava was to get in touch with Elizabeth and find out where she was.

Elizabeth Baldwin Puts Two And Two Together

Elizabeth will soon begin to question whether Nikolas actually left on his own choice when he left town, if he indeed left town at all. Has Ava made a mistake she can’t undo, or did she only want Elizabeth to keep quiet so that no one would approach Wyndemere and discover things aren’t as clear-cut as she wants everyone to think between her and her ex-husband? Elizabeth will question Ava’s motives when she learns that Nikolas apparently left town without saying anything at the same time as she knocked on her door.
