General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has been keeping a major secret. Months ago, Harmony (Inga Cadranel) confessed to Carly on her deathbed that not only was Harmony, not Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) biological but that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was. Carly enlisted Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to verify Harmony’s claims and they were able to retrieve DNA samples from both Nina and Willow. Carly’s received the results which verified Harmony’s claim. But Carly then like to Drew that the results were negative.

Carly was able to prevent the truth from emerging by lying to Drew. However, Willow now requires a bone marrow donor since she has leukemia. While Drew is actively looking for a blood related of Willow, Carly is not aware of the truth. Carly is aware of Drew’s inquiry, but she is unaware of its purpose. She has made conscious efforts to prevent Drew from knowing the truth. Carly keeps convincing herself that Willow would be better off without Nina in her life, but her loathing of Nina plays a significant role in her motivation.

But the time has come for the truth to be revealed. Soon, Nina and Willow will realize they are mother and daughter. Carly was specifically trying to prevent this. Carly thinks it would be best if Willow never discovered that Nina was really her mother. She can back up her assertions with history. Over the years, there has been a lot of hostility between Willow and Nina. No biological link will alter that.

Drew Cain Is A Very Honest Man!

Carly, however, will have a lot of explaining to do when the truth is exposed. She might lose Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) as a result of her falsehoods, but Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), her daughter, is likely to support her. The outcome of Drew’s response, though, may be the most heartbreaking for Carly. She had the chance to be honest with him months ago. She has also thwarted his efforts to find Willow’s biological family. The most likely consequence is that Drew will cut off all contact with Carly and that their relationship will come to an end.
