General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Dex Goes Rogue As Michael Tries To Wash His Hands Of Him

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) believed he understood what he was getting into when he chose to exact revenge on Sonny Corinthos, the only father he had ever known (Maurice Benard). But as more details of his devastation are revealed, Michael will begin to understand that the price it would exact is not worth it.

Katelyn MacMullen’s character Willow Tait doesn’t want Michael at odds with his father or focusing all of his efforts on a plan of retaliation. He must put her and surviving cancer first. Michael second-guesses himself and decides it’s best to put an end to everything as he learns Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and his siblings would all be exposed and at risk of attack should Sonny’s criminal empire that serves to shield them tumble to the ground.

Michael tried twice before to inform Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) that he wanted to cut his losses and end all relationships, but Dex would have none of it. He believed they were too near to putting Sonny down for them to turn around at the last minute. Michael will remind him that he claimed that the previous two times he tried that script and yet here they are with nothing to show for it. Dex won’t be amused by his plea when he claims that he has completely changed his mind and that it is not about the risk to anyone or the passage of time but rather that he just no longer desires retribution.

As Michael tries to stop Dex, it will become clear that he seems to have his own goal. Now that Sonny’s newest enforcer has gained access to the inner sanctum of the criminal underworld, he isn’t eager to give it up. Is this about gaining control and replacing Port Chuck’s crime bosses, or is there another motive? Michael will take it personally, but it won’t make much sense because he discovered Dex, right?

Dex finds himself in a pickle because he is now falling for Michael’s younger sister, who he was told to avoid, even though Michael wants him to pack up and leave town.
