General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease there’s likely a deadly trap ahead for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), besides the possibility of a plane crash. Since the woman who shot Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is likely Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) and she’s nowhere to be found, could she be after Valentin next?

General Hospital Spoilers – They’re Trying To Get Rid Of Me

Valentin knew it was a trap when he boarded Victor’s plane under the pretense of taking him to see Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McClain), but so did Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Even Valentin informed Anna that they were trying to get rid of him when he visited her home to say farewell. Victor forbade him from boarding a commercial flight and ordered him to board his private plane instead, so he was aware of this.

Victor did want Valentin out of town, perhaps so he couldn’t aid Anna in defending herself against her false murder accusations, but he also needs to take care of him. Victor is aware that Lucy was spying on him, therefore he knows that Anna and Valentin are after him. Because he is aware that Lucy was spying on him and providing them with information, he made the call to arrange a tragic accident.

General Hospital Updates – Fatal Accidents Are Victor Cassadine’s MO

Victor’s method seems to be apparent tragic accidents followed by imprisonment; first it was Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), then Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), and potentially now Lucy. Lucy might have been taken and kept in a compound, similar to how Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was shot off the pier and assumed dead for five years.

As a diversion to keep Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) occupied, Holly—or at least, that’s who we assume she is—was also held captive and has now emerged alive. Alex was also shot by Anna and fled into the Haunted Star’s waters, but it appears that she has returned as well—partially to frame Anna and keep her busy. Valentin’s situation could very well be similar, in that a plane crash is He is being imprisoned in one of his father’s compounds, but it may not be false like Drew’s.

Alex Devane’s Deadly Trap

For the time being, Alex has vanished, leaving behind Anna’s car trunk with Alex’s belongings and the gun used to shoot Lucy. Alex could pursue Valentin if it is not Victor’s intention for her to continue acting like Anna; after all, he gave her son to Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). When Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was born, Anna-obsessed Valentin mistook Alex for Anna while traveling from the WSB espionage school to the midwife.

Alex may turn on him and murder him, or she could attempt to do it in a lethal way by posing as Anna once more and coming to his aid. Or, she may just inform him that she must kill him since Victor has threatened to kill Kimberly McCullough’s character Robin Scorpio-Drake if she doesn’t.
