According to General Hospital (GH) spoilers, Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) response to Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) secret will bring a level of intricacy to this plot that few people expected. Curtis and Portia had been perplexed for months as to why Curtis’ father, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), declined to undergo genetic testing to determine whether or not he had schizophrenia. When he eventually decide to do it, he held off telling anybody until afterward. As Marshall may not even be Curtis’ father, Curtis is about to develop doubts about that decision, which is only natural. Marshall will also start to get quite concerned about Curtis’ marriage and what that would entail for his relationship with his kid.
General Hospital Spoilers — Portia Robinson Lied. That’s All.
Curtis’s ability to process everything will be tested, not to mention the strain on his brand-new, unsuccessful marriage to Portia. Curtis went from celebrating the beginning of his life with Portia to maybe preparing for its end in a matter of minutes. How did things quickly turn bad? That would be followed by more falsehoods. Portia is aware of Curtis’ abhorrence of secrets and the fact that his first marriage ended as a result of them. She nonetheless reasoned that it would be worthwhile to gamble with everyone’s future and be married to him. He’ll reflect and understand that while she might have wished to inform him during their vows, it’s now too late.
General Hospital Updates – Curtis Ashford Is Grateful For His Father
Thankfully, Curtis’ father appears to have re-entered his life at the ideal moment. He will require a shoulder to cry on and is unsure of his current feelings about his aunt Stella Henry (Vernee Watson). Why didn’t she tell him how it was that she discovered this information before he did? Yet, Curtis will be astonished to hear Marshall giving Portia the benefit of the doubt and urging him not to lose up on her just yet when he finally takes the opportunity to vent to his father about what Portia has done. Marshall appears to be siding with whoever here?
But Marshall is also lying.
Although Marshall may appear to be all about forgiving people and not carrying grudges, he is actually lying to Curtis. Because he can identify with Portia in this situation, his guilty conscience may take control of him and he may feel compelled to defend the weaker party—ahem, the liar. How will Curtis react if he ever learns Marshall may not be his if he is as outraged by learning he could be Trina’s father?
