General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Carly Runs Interference – Pays Lab Tech For Fake Nina-Willow DNA Results?

In order to prevent Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) from discovering her deception, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will meddle, according to General Hospital spoilers and news. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), who still doesn’t know that she needs a bone marrow transplant, will do anything to keep the fact that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is her mother a secret.

General Hospital Spoilers – Maintaining The Lie

Carly might have done better to keep Willow’s leukemia a secret from Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), who didn’t want Willow to meet her birth mother, if she had known about it. Carly and Willow would concur even more with Harmony’s prediction that Nina would destroy Willow’s life and give her a great deal of suffering. Willow’s time is running limited, however, as her twin sister Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) has passed away and she is unaware of any of her other genetic relatives.

Carly is holding the secret in order to prevent Drew from finding out that she lied to him more than her quarrel with Nina. He had assisted her in obtaining a sample to compare to Nina’s DNA, and she had promised to inform him the real results any way, but she didn’t.

General Hospital Updates – Drew Cain Is Determined To Find The Truth

Drew was duped by Carly’s claim that the DNA test proved Nina wasn’t Willow’s mother even though he was aware that Harmony had made that claim. He now appears to be searching for Willow’s ancestors just as desperately as Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Carly is baffled as to why, even though it makes sense to want to know about the family to rule out genetic problems given that Michael had one. Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) inherited Michael’s heart condition, and she had to fight Nelle to have the operation done to correct it. There was a great uproar over the fact that they had to perform his procedure behind Nelle’s back.

Carly Spencer Has To Cover Quickly

Drew is now getting too close to finding out the truth when Carly finds out he wants to run Willow’s DNA for a match at GH! She has to cover quickly and goes to the lab, and pays a lab tech to fake a duplicate test and give her the original one she paid for. She’ll put it in a safety deposit box she has at her bank so no one will ever know about it until after she dies.

By that time it will be too late most likely for Nina to have any reason to know Willow was her daughter and Nelle’s twin. And Carly should be safe from Drew knowing she lied about the DNA match because the only record will be the fake test she just paid for.
