General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) thought she had tied everything into a neat little bow as she set the course for Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) investigation into Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) birth parents to crash into a dead end. When Denise Makenzie (Alice Rietveld) got the order from Carly to steer Drew off track, she knew Carly meant business. She’s paying a healthy sum for this small act, and it’s no sweat off of Denise’s back to lying to a stranger. What Carly wasn’t expecting was a demand for more. Now that it looks like Denise might plan to extort Carly for all she’s worth — and then some — Carly is going to need to look elsewhere for support soon.

Drew believes that any assistance Denise could provide is already on the table. He might find it strange if she later calls him back with further information because she seemed to have told him everything she knew. Denise, though, has no intention of leaving. She can call Drew at any time and inform him that everything was a falsehood concocted by Carly, who will realize she’s made a disaster out of trying to cover up her earlier deceit. Carly will spend all of her resources in an effort to solve this issue as Denise continues to demand more money in exchange for her silence, let alone for carrying out more schemes against Drew and Willow.

General Hospital Updates – Drew Cain Inches Closer to Silas Clay

Carly will sense that Drew is getting closer to realizing that she has been lying about everything and that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is Willow’s birth mother as he approaches the realization that Silas Clay (Michael Easton) is Willow’s biological father. Denise will feel motivated to return for more money when she watches Drew’s story air via Aurora Media requesting information specifically on Willow’s father. Carly will be concerned that she may need to use more extreme steps to get Denise to leave forever.

Carly Spencer Needs An Ally

If Carly doesn’t come up with a new strategy soon, she’ll have trouble making ends meet. She is not wealthy, as she admitted to Denise, but it is not her fault. Carly would wish Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was still around to take care of this issue for her when she needs a loan.

She is aware that she cannot ask Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for assistance since he will want information that she is unable to provide. Without hesitation, Carly is going to run to Brick, the last location she found assistance (Stephen A. Smith). Will he stop Denise from bothering Carly ever again?
