So many suspects, so little evidence….

You remember The Hook from General Hospital? He/She/They terrorized the populace of Port Charles for an intense couple of weeks, killed Brando Corbin and put Diane Miller in the hospital.

A majority of voters, 38%, are certain that The Hook is not a candidate we’ve previously thought about. Either it’s a total stranger with a grudge and a plan no one could have predicted, or it’s someone who seems to have absolutely no connection to the victims… but was free to cause mayhem. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) is here, I suppose! Otherwise, Alexis Davis The resurrected Morgan Corinthos is here! Georgie Jones is alive again! Dillon Quartermaine—completely without cause! why not

For 28% of the audience, however, the obvious suspect is Officer Rory Cabrera (Michael Kruse). He showed up right around the time of the killings. And he seems to have no other personality traits.

The killings took place while Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) was presumed dead. And then they stopped once Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) locked a pregnant Esme up. To 18% of you, that’s all the evidence of guilt anybody needs.

11% of respondents identify the local killing psychopath. Ryan Chamberlain is the reason (Jon Lindstrom). He is the one who has allegedly been ramming hooks into individuals. Who cares if he is imprisoned? He has previously defeated death. A closed door is nothing to him.

If the show wasn’t going to set the stage for Heather Webber (Alley Mills) to become The Hook, then what was the point of reminding us of her existence? No one but Heather needs an explanation for why Heather does what she does. She probably has one for this one as well.
