General Hospital Comings & Goings: Holly Sutton Exits

Recent GH arrivals and departures indicate Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) departure and the end of her tenure there, at least temporarily. However, the authors left room in the plot for Holly to come back. And Holly’s actor, Emma Samms, supports it wholeheartedly.

Last week, Holly Sutton pretended to have severe burns in order to misdirect Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). As General Hospital viewers are aware, Holly is primarily concerned with saving her son Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons).

But Holly will likely return for revenge on Vic. Emma is open to short-term returns, but her home is in England. So, while Holly won’t be on full-time, it’s doubtful that the legacy character is gone forever.

GH Casting News: Britt Westbourne Wraps It Up

Updates on new casting promise Kelly Thiebaud’s character, Britt Westbourne, will shortly leave General Hospital. The effects of Britt’s illness are becoming more severe and burdensome.

Sadly, it appears that she will perish in the sudser. There is no treatment for Huntington’s disease, and Britt’s condition will only get worse until she need 24-hour care. She may therefore decide to end her life while still in quite good health by taking matters into her own hands.

In fact, Britt decided to choose her own path rather than die of the illness in General Hospital. She might also seek assistance from her close friend Dr. Austin Holt (Roger Howarth).

And Britt’s tenure on the soap opera might come to an assisted end. She is now a fan favorite, in fact. Fans will be devastated if she passes away permanently.

There might be a surprise in store, and she might leave for therapy rather than pass away. After all, her loved ones are unlikely to consent to her suicide without a struggle.

Brad Cooper Returns to General Hospital

Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) will return to the scene the following week, according to recent GH spoilers and casting news. He feels moved by Britt Westbourne, his best friend, when she shows her friend kindness. A tragedy then shakes Port Charles.

And Britt’s demise might be that tragedy. If so, Brad will probably attend the funeral to pay his respects and bid his BFF farewell. Furthermore, Jeff Kober’s Cyrus Renault is still visible on screen and seems to be up to something.
