#1 Britt Westbourne Dead – General Hospital Predictions

Recent GH comings and goings confirmed Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is set to leave the soap this month to focus on the primetime drama Station 19. So, her exit will be any day now and likely connected to her Huntington’s diagnosis.

Currently, she is showing signs of the disease. So, she finally agreed to see a specialist after confiding in her colleague Dr. Austin Holt (Roger Howarth). This week, on General Hospital, Britt gets news that’s difficult to hear.

So, she might learn that her illness has advanced. Maybe the doctor informs Britt that she only has a limited time left to live. Fans obviously don’t want the Co-chief of Staff to pass away.

She is a formerly evil character who the General Hospital audience has come to adore. Therefore, if this is her final episode, many viewers will be devastated. But there’s another way her plot could develop…

#2 GH Doc Leaves Town

There’s also a chance Britt Westbourne will depart Port Charles shortly for medical care. She now appears prepared to take on her illness head-on and battle for her life. In addition to her mother, Liesl Obrecht, she has Austin on her side (Kathleen Gati).

Additionally, she might finally update her General Hospital best friend Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). Without a question, Brad will encourage Britt to seek medical attention and put up a fight rather than surrender to the sickness.

So to make way for Kelly’s absence, Britt may go to a treatment facility out of town. Indeed, that would be the most ideal option. That way, she can return, possibly cured, and stick around rather than leave for good. Although, there’s another option…

#3 Recast Ahead on General Hospital?

There’s always a chance GH could bring in a temporary recast to play Britt. And, perhaps, Huntington’s won’t be a death sentence after all. The soap brings in temps all the time.

Think along the lines of Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Also, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). So, a recast is entirely possible.

Whichever way the powers that be decide to go, we just hope it doesn’t mean “Britta” will leave GH for good. Don’t miss a minute of the ABC soap to see how Britt Westbourne’s exit story plays out. Hopefully, she’ll be back sometime shortly.
