Many daytime actors have found instances in life where their on-screen storyline matches real-life developments. General Hospital star Chad Duell is among those players in light of some recent personal news he shared.
Chad Duell Has Some Big News to Share
Little Duell will debut in September 2023. Stay tuned, Chad Duell wrote on Instagram. Duell and his expectant girlfriend Luna Lucci, 24, are pictured in the post below holding a sign that asks, “Baby Duell Boy or Girl?” Despite the fact that Duell hasn’t officially revealed the baby’s gender, the blue splatter on the poster in the picture suggests that the couple is expecting a son.
In the movie, Michael Corinthos, played by Duell, is the father of two children: Wiley, a toddler, and Amelia Grace, a baby. With relation to GH, the actor’s co-stars sent their congratulations. Another Virgo? Oh hooo! Congrats, Laura Wright, Duell’s television mother, wrote (Carly). “Agh!” yelled Kirsten Storms (Maxie). Congratulations.”

Coby Ryan McLaughlin, who had a reign of terror in Port Charles as Dawn of Day cult leader, Shiloh, wrote, “Congrats to you both!!” Sofia Mattsson shared, “Wohoooo!!! So exciting!!!”

Chad Duell Backstory
It’s unclear how long Duell and Lucci have been dating but on her Instagram, they were seen hanging out together last Halloween. On Duell’s Instagram page, he shared an image of himself and Lucci, which was taken at a wedding in November.
Prior to this, Duell was engaged to Courtney Hope of The Young and the Restless (Sally Spectra). In October 2021, the two exchanged vows at a sumptuous banquet, but by the end of the year, it was revealed that the couple had not only split up but also that their marriage had never been formally recognized.
