Nina was upset when Willow forgave Carly since things had taken a nasty turn. Willow chose to pardon Carly for keeping the information from her and remained avoiding Nina. Carly was unable to make any guarantees, but she did begin attempting to mediate the mother-daughter conflict.

After then, their rivalry continued unabated and lasted for years. Fans believed that only a miracle could prevent them from pursuing one another, but it appears that miracle may occur soon. The miracle that makes everything fall into place may be the efforts made by Carly to bring Nina and Willow closer to one another.
Nina was devastated at Nelle’s passing. She believed she didn’t have a child of her own for a long time. She was, however, ecstatic when she learned about Willow. Willow is content with learning that she still has a daughter, despite the fact that she doesn’t want to see her face. In addition to giving Willow a chance to survive, Liesl’s bone marrow match also provided Nina a chance to work things out with her daughter.
Carly has chosen to fix her error because she and Willow admire one another. She is working very hard to get Nina and her kid closer for that reason. This is the point where Nina could appreciate Carly’s efforts and make a significant choice. She could decide to end their competition as a sign of gratitude for her work, which is a possibility.
