However, what if one of them already knows? According to GH spoilers, Ava Jerome Cassadine and Nikolas Cassadine are still trying to hide what truly happened to Esme Prince.
Spoilers for General Hospital: Nikolas’s House of Lies
When Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) admitted to sleeping with Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) when he believed they were on a break, Ava (Maura West) had to learn the hard way that she couldn’t trust her husband. Yes, he felt regret and sorrow since he loves Ava in his own peculiar way, but probably not enough to stop him from lying in the future.
Keep in mind that he was the one who went looking for Esme after she fell from the parapet, returning with just her shoe and claiming that she was missing and probably dead. But what if he discovered she was still alive and has held her captive ever since to stop her from further damaging his life?
As a last resort, holding Esme Prince as a hostage
As part of his efforts to keep Ava safe from the police, Nikolas is also able to keep her close to him and under his roof. After all, no one can find out that Nikolas had a relationship because if Esme does show up, Ava would be the main suspect. At least, Ava is believing him when he says it, and she does as well.
GH Spoilers: Retaliation
The ideal method to behave charitably in the sake of defending Ava and eventually getting her back is to hold Esme prisoner someplace. Esme also gets punished, which Nikolas views as a plus given all the havoc she caused. It wouldn’t be shocking if he is now a kidnapper as well, given how he handled Ava when he first got back to Port Charles.
