Bad General Hospital Mom: Should Laura Collins Blame Herself For Nikolas?

Nikolas Cassadine has been on General Hospital up until recent events, fully living up to his family name. He mistressed his wife. He abducted his baby’s mother. He declared he would abduct Avery. Elizabeth committed crimes for him on his behalf. He is at odds with his uncle, his kid, and the rest of the world.

And Nikolas attempted to place the blame on Laura Collins (Genie Francis) after she called him out on it. Laura put up a brave front. But it’s obvious that part of what Nik said affected her. Is she to blame for his inclination towards evil? More than 2,000 admirers voiced their thoughts.

Just 7% of you are prepared to consider Adam Huss’ (Nik) point of view. Laura really did leave him. Nik was raised by an uncle who had dubious morality throughout his most impressionable years. Moreover, Nik was forced to idolise his crazy father by his grandma. He obviously has no concept of what is right and wrong. And Laura is partially to blame.

Laura Collins: Grow Up, Nikolas

Over thirty years have passed since Nikolas was a youngster, as 27% of the audience would like to point out. He must stop continuing to hold Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, and Uncle Stefan responsible for his bad choices. What he did to Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) was wrong, and he was aware of that. By squeezing Liz (Rebecca Herbst), he was aware that he was making matters worse. Nik nonetheless did it. He is to blame for it.

Then there are the 66% who don’t think Nik’s early life had anything to do with the atrocities he later committed, including Laura being made to leave him with the Cassadines. Although he could try to apologise to Laura for not becoming the son she wanted, this is all his fault. Reading the riot act to him was a perfect move on Laura’s part.
